Maoliosa show apartment

Apartment 302 North forms part of The Designer Collection. The expansive two-bedroom duplex residence that spans 2,756 sq. ft. across the third and fifth floors has been brought to life by Irish interior designer Maoliosa Murray. Her signature approach draws inspiration from Art Deco and Mid-Century design, while honouring the building’s Grade II listed heritage, reimagined by Foster + Partners.
FOR ME, TRUE LUXURY IS SUBTLE AND EXPERIENTIAL – IT LIES IN TEXTURE, SIMPLICITY, AND THE WAY A SPACE MAKES YOU FEEL.

At the heart of Maoliosa’s design is her own story. Inspired by childhood memories of her mother’s ceramics gallery in Kensington, the apartment reflects a deep appreciation for craft and considered design. That early exposure to artists and makers informs her choices of layered textures, sculptural pieces and abstract art, while her Irish heritage is subtly threaded through the scheme, most notably in the selection of furniture that unites Irish and international craftsmanship.
With an international reputation for creating sophisticated interiors for some of the world’s most prestigious addresses, Maoliosa Murray brings over two decades of experience into a home that reflects both the historic architectural legacy of The Whiteley and her dedication to exceptional craftsmanship.
With a sophisticated palette of onyx, tobacco and porcelain white, enriched with accents of bronze and silk, Maoliosa’s designs are focused on warmth and softness. Juxtaposing rich chocolate and coffee tones with paler shades creates a subtle contrast that is both grounded and uplifting.
The combination of original art and unique furnishings bring a sense of character and distinctive personality to the expanses of space throughout the apartment.
“I WANTED TO CREATE A MODERN LIVING SPACE WITH CRAFTSMANSHIP AND ART AT ITS HEART. THE SOARING SIX-METRE CEILINGS AND DRAMATIC LEAD-ARCH WINDOWS CALLED FOR A DESIGN THAT CELEBRATES LIGHT AND ATMOSPHERE.“
