Mhór Studio show apartment

Apartment 203 North represents Phil Waterson and Claudia Riga de Spinoza’s collaboration as Mhòr Studio. A celebration of craft, glamour and enduring aesthetic value, the apartment brings together authentic pieces from the early and mid-20th century with the best of contemporary design, creating an interior that feels both distinctive and timeless.
“We wanted to create something that allowed us to marry a sense of history, identity and place with a way of living in a modern lateral apartment.”
Claudia Riga de Spinoza
Extending across more than 4,000 sq ft, Apartment 203 North is a remarkable four-bedroom lateral home defined by volume, light and a compelling sense of arrival. Soaring 4.2m ceilings give the interiors an exceptional grandeur, while expansive glazing draws natural light deep into the apartment. At its heart, a dramatic entrance hall establishes a strong architectural rhythm, with the principal living spaces unfolding around it.
Throughout, Mhòr Studio has used scale to striking effect. Art, lighting, furniture and objects are considered in relation to the architecture rather than simply placed within it, creating rooms that feel layered and characterful while retaining an overriding sense of calm. The approach extends to the kitchen, created in partnership with B&B Italia, where refined detailing and materiality are matched by the practical demands of everyday living. Rather than treating function and beauty as separate considerations, the apartment brings the two together throughout.
